I haven't talked much about all my crafty projects that I do. I like to dabble in all sorts of things, patchwork, decoupage, sewing and lampshade making. Some things I make for my home and other things I make for the shop.
The first picture is of me at 'Crafty vintage' at Lydbury North. Sue and I had a stall together. a lovely day was had by all.
I bought this lovely little nest of tables from a charity shop, I was going to paint them to sell in the shop, but when I'd painted them and added some local maps I liked them so much I decided to keep them!! I then covered the little childrens chairs with an old Fairy Tales book and a Beano Annual. The cushion is made out of vintage quilt pieces, which I have button hole stitched the flowers and leaves and added a button in the centre of each one. The tea cups have been made into candles using wax chips, they are a wonderful way of displaying, and using old pretty tea cups.

A walk on Bradnor
This is just a short drive in the car for me and you can walk into Kington once you've parked the car at the Kneaves. The walk leads you up onto Kington Golf Club. As usual didn't meet anyone except for a lady and her daughter on horseback I can never understand why I don't meet more people as it's so beautiful around here and so peaceful.

Happy New Year
It's been a little while since I last wrote have been busy with the usual things we have to do, feeding animals etc. we do have some new additions to the farm four lovely ducks that were my Christmas present off Matthew. They arrived on the 23rd December having caught and collected them from Penoffa.
The moss on the stone wall is just so beautiful.
Just like pencils, I expect they will be quite soon!!!!
Have had some really lovely walks over Christmas and New Year, although the weather wasn't particularly good it was nice to get out and blow the cobwebs away. How lucky I am to live in such a beautiful place.
