One of the things that we have wanted to do on the farm for quite a long time is to clean out our pool. It has in the past few years been getting more and more reid mace, a few years ago I got in with my waders and physically pulled it out by hand and although this wasn't hard work it was extremely time consuming because as I got further out into the pool it was harder to throw the stuff to the banks. Well this summer because of the lack of rain the pool finally dryed up, so come the end of September Glyn got in with the 'BIG STUFF' and dug it out, it only took about a week and gosh what a difference it has made. All we want now is the rain to come so that it will re-fill again.
